Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the nouri. mobile application operated by EXCIT3D GmbH.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using nouri., you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

nouri. is a food inventory management application that allows you to:

• Track food items and their expiry dates
• Scan receipts using AI to add items automatically
• Import and manage recipes
• Create and manage shopping lists
• Share inventory with household members

3. User Accounts

To use nouri., you must create an account. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.

4. Subscriptions

nouri. offers both free and paid subscription plans:

• Free Plan: Limited features with usage caps
• PRO Plan: Full access to all features

Subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android). By subscribing, you agree to the respective platform's terms of payment. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

5. Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time through the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android) settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google according to their respective refund policies.

6. AI Processing

nouri. uses artificial intelligence to process receipt images and extract food items. While we strive for accuracy, AI processing may contain errors. You are responsible for verifying and correcting any inaccuracies in extracted data.

7. User Content

You retain ownership of all content you upload to nouri., including:

• Receipt images
• Inventory data
• Recipes you create
• Shopping lists

By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to process and store it for providing the service.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any illegal purpose
• Upload malicious content or attempt to compromise our systems
• Share your account with others outside your household
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code
• Use automated systems to access the service

9. Intellectual Property

The nouri. app, including its design, code, and brand, is owned by EXCIT3D GmbH and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the app without our written permission.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

nouri. is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

• Uninterrupted or error-free operation
• Accuracy of AI-extracted data
• Suitability for any particular purpose

nouri. provides informational tracking only and does not replace proper food safety practices.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, EXCIT3D GmbH shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Loss of data or profits
• Food safety issues arising from inaccurate expiry tracking

Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the past 12 months.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. Material changes will be communicated through the app or via email.

13. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violations of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Solingen, Germany.
